The beginning of more new stuff!

Tomorrow will be a fun day. I have a handful of new Nelson acoustic guitar models I will be starting soon BUT tomorrow is kind of special. Tomorrow is the day I begin drafting my plans for the Nelson Ukuleles.

I think the Ukulele is a fantastic instrument that seldom gets the respect I think it deserves. They are fun, portable, easy to play (which is great especially for young kids,) and did you know that while the chord positions are different all of your guitar chord shapes transfer perfectly to the Ukulele?!

So soon there will be wonderful Nelson Ukuleles available. There will eventually be 3 models, but I will start with the first two right now. Essentially identical soprano models. There will be a basic, no-frills, brown stained model that will be perfect for those who just want a basic fantastic instrument.

The other one will be a bit fancier. It will use exotic woods for the body and have tasteful trim.

Both models will be fantastic and I can’t wait to get started on these! Hopefully I’ll have some pictures of Ukes in progress soon!
